かつての私は、恐れや不安に支配され、過度な心配性に悩まされていました。その影響で、蕁麻疹が出たり、胃が痛くなったり、過敏性腸炎や嘔吐に苦しんだりと、日常生活に支障をきたすほどでした。 I used to be ruled by fear and anxiety, plagued by excessive worry. Because of it, I broke out in hives, suffered stomachaches, irritable bowel syndrome, and vomiting—to the point that it disrupted my daily life.
不安な心は、いつしか私のカバンを大きくしていました。「念のために」と、いつも荷物はいっぱい。用意周到な自分を褒めていた一方で、どこかで「何かが違う」と感じていました。 Before I knew it, my anxious heart had made my bag bigger and bigger. "Just in case," I always packed it full. Even as I praised myself for being well-prepared, somewhere inside I felt that "something is wrong."
その心のあり方のままでは、いざという時に失敗したり、本番に弱くなったりして、人生は空回りし、次第に不幸な方向へと傾いていきました。 With that state of mind, I would fail at crucial moments and crumble under pressure; my life spun its wheels and gradually tilted toward unhappiness.
